Who We Are
Since 2016, our founder, Fran, has been deeply dedicated to raising awareness about the urgent needs of our unhoused community. Drawing from her own experience with homelessness, she has become a passionate advocate for meaningful change, working tirelessly to connect individuals with vital resources and ongoing support.
In 2022, Fran introduced a powerful mission: "Two Hands Provides HELP for Twenty"—a commitment to serve and uplift at least twenty individuals at a time through compassion and practical aid. As the Executive Director, Fran leads with experience, empathy, and a vision rooted in both faith and action.
She is joined by a committed board of leaders who share her dedication to restoring dignity and hope:
Jacquita Alexander, Treasurer – With a strong background in healthcare and financial management, Jacquita ensures fiscal responsibility while advocating for the well-being of vulnerable communities.
Martel Johnson, Board Chair – A hands-on community advocate, Martel supports outreach efforts with a deep passion for direct service and resource distribution to those most in need.
Kimberly Spears, Secretary – Drawing from her experience in education and accounting, Kimberly provides organizational oversight while championing programs that empower families through stability and care.
Together, this team is building a foundation of faith, compassion, and accountability—working daily to transform lives through Mary Angels Homeless Advocacy.
